Electrical Engineer- Mid Level

Loenbro is a single-source industrial service provider.
Loenbro Instrumentation & Electrical (Loenbro I&E) and Process Power & Control (PPC) are divisions within Loenbro responsible for providing the electrical portion of these services.
PPC provides drafting, design, engineering, programming, and project controls.
PPC is looking for a motivated and self-disciplined individual to take on a mid-level Electrical Engineering role based out of Glenrock, WY, with a potential for remote or hybrid working.
Estimate of 75% computer work to 25% field work.
Responsibilities
Engineering Records Development
Drawings will need to be developed or modified for industrial facilities.

Existing drawings will need to be Redlined in order to produce As- Builts for project completion.
These drawings will include electrical layouts, plans, schematics, diagrams, panel schedules, cable schedules, material lists, and more.
Some non-electrical drawings will be created.

A good understanding of the Redline and As-Built process and familiarity with the programs (AutoCAD) will be necessary in order to manage these projects.

Some projects would involve field work to collect or verify redlines.
A secondary job duty would be project support tasks such as data sorting, organization, and aggregation utilizing programs like Microsoft Excel.

Designing electrical design using CAD or power analysis software
Electrical construction drawings are created
Control systems are laid out and wiring is diagrammed to send to fabricate
Site electrical systems are modeled in order to perform engineering calculations
Engineering
Calculations are performed
Data is interpreted
Results are presented
Interface with customer
Interface with construction team
Project Management
Estimate project costs and create proposal for customer
Track project costs and allocate resources
Communicate with customer and solve problems that may arise
Take responsibility and assure quality job has been done

Qualifications:

Accredited bachelors degree in electrical engineering
5 years experience in industrial construction, drafting, or design role
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Preferred proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical toolset
Bonus if proficient in SKM power tools
Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to learn specific styles, standards, and procedures of company and adapt and learn new things that may be tasked.
Willingness to work with others and learn from others
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Ability to stay organized Starting Wage Range:
$75,000- $100,000 annually
